Headlines involving Parklands and surrounds have highlighted the high drug smuggling and sexual exploitation rates over the last couple of years. In an effort to combat this worrying trend, police visibility and visibility patrols have increased in areas covering Parklands, Parklands North, Sandown, Sunningdale, Rivergate and Pioneer Valley.
These police efforts are now being supported by the addition of cameras at major entry and exit points, as well as the rollout of the local neighborhood watch’s Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) project.
